Mission
The mission of the Yuma County Sheriffs Office League of Volunteers (SOLV) is to assist and support the Yuma County Sheriffs Office with certain duties that promote the health and well-being of Yuma County residents. It is the purpose and objective of SOLV to assist the Sheriff of Yuma County in his responsibility to preserve and promote the peace and welfare of Yuma County. Duties and responsibilities of SOLV may include both law enforcement and non-law enforcement related tasks. Those duties include but are not limited to community events, traffic/crowd control, tax collection, search and rescue activities, and in any emergency when deemed necessary by the Sheriff. At all times, the activities and conduct of members of SOLV shall be consistent with the Code of Conduct of the Yuma County Sheriffs Office.
