Addiction recovery services: ywca's addiction recovery services helps adult women with substance use disorder live in recovery so that they can take back control of their lives, including reunifying with family and friends. Addiction recovery services at ywca includes a residential program, which is one of few residential addiction recovery programs in the state that allows children to live with their mom in the program, and outpatient case management for past residents. Survivor services: domestic violence advocacy ywca northeast indiana helps adults and children experiencing domestic violence to understand the dynamics of domestic violence so that they are empowered to live a life free from abuse. Ywca offers comprehensive services, including a 24/7 emergency shelter and hotline, one-on-one advocacy for those living in the community or at the shelter, and after- shelter housing coordination. During 2024, ywca advocates provided over hundreds of measurable units of services to survivors. For example, 332 safety plans were completed, 987 units of emotional support were provided, 541 units of advocacy (advocating on behalf of the client with providers) were completed, (continued on schedule o)

Clinical therapy services ywca's clinical therapy services program continues to provide free counseling with licensed therapists to ywca clients and community members affected by domestic violence and sexual assault. Providing free in-house therapy with therapists who specialize in helping clients through addiction recovery, domestic violence, and sexual assault reduces barriers for clients, such as the expense of other therapy providers and the expense and time of transportation. In 2024, the clinical therapy services team at ywca provided 91 clients with 757 free sessions of therapy. During 2024, the clinical therapy services program saw an increase in referrals, both from within ywca programs and the broader community. A high rate of internal referrals indicates that clients are taking advantage of the full breadth of services ywca offers. When a client works with both an advocate or case manager and a therapist, the impact of each program is increased. Engaging with multiple layers of support strengthens a client's ability to meet their goals and move past trauma. Several new therapeutic approaches were introduced in 2024, including trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (tfcbt) and trauma-informed stabilization treatment (tist), expanding the program's ability to address both substance use and domestic violence-related trauma. In early 2025, all three ywca therapists will become certified in eye movement desensitization reprocessing (emdr) therapy, another therapeutic technique used in trauma treatment. Community education ywca northeast indiana's community education program helps youth grades 4- 12 understand dating violence, sexual violence, and digital safety so they can make healthy relationship choices. The program also engages adult professionals in trainings about domestic violence and addiction and recovery to empower adults with prevention and intervention knowledge. Each year, ywca community educators reach thousands of students and hundreds of adults across northeast indiana through classroom presentations and in- person intervention training. Throughout 2024, ywca educators reached 711 adults and 3,482 students with prevention and intervention education for domestic and sexual violence and addiction and recovery. In 2024, ywca's community education team improved and expanded prevention education options, streamlined procedures, and developed a formalized outreach strategy. The team has been developing an addiction & recovery 101 training session for adults over the last several years. The addiction & recovery 101 training was finalized in 2024 and is currently available alongside ywca's other training options. Additionally, the team improved training curriculum in 2024 by incorporating concepts related to domestic violence and addiction in all adult presentations, including presentations on ywca's services. Taking an integrated approach centers the audience on the need for ywca's services and provides the audience with insights into two key issues not often discussed in tandem.
