Nutrition: YWCA served over 46,872 meals and snacks Breakfast: 15,040 Lunch: 16,127 Snacks: 15,705 Womens Empowerment-Motherlove program provides mentoring and case management services to pregnant and parenting teens in Buncombe County. Further, we provide infant care products. 100% of enrolled students advanced to the next grade, accessed prenatal care, and received diapers and wipes.

Racial Justice Program: Eliminating racism has always and will continue to be YWCA of Ashevilles driving mission. The YWCAs Racial Justice programming operates both internally and externally, leads advocacy efforts in the community, and cultivates strategic partnerships through community participation and connections. In 23/24, we hosted 17 workshops with over 348 participants. Our 21-Day Challenge on Racial Equality and Social Justice is designed to encourage social justice habits particularly with those dealing with issues of race, power, privilege and leadership.
