The ywca is dedicated to the elimination of racism and the empowerment of women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.

Programs

2 programs

Pals- the pals program provides services to non-offending parents and children between the ages of 3-17 years old. The goal of the pals program is trauma reduction through creative arts. The program provides six months of creative arts therapy services to children using diverse creative arts modalities such as drama and movement, art and music therapy. 2023 has been a productive year in pals, with our program serving 30 new adults and 53 children providing them with 663 creative arts therapy sessions. As well the return of support groups, family fun night, summer wellness, yoga, and halloween themed nights.

Served hundreds of individuals through services including counseling, domestic violence response teams, supportive housing, case management, children's services and community/professional education.
