The ywca of greater baton rouge is dedicated to eliminating racism; empowering women; and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. They promote solutions to improve the lives of women, girls, and people of color across the country.

YWCA of Greater Baton Rouge provided cash management services and managed a relief program for individuals and families experiencing rent and/or utility delinquency as a result of COVID-19 and its negative impact on the local economy.

The Child and Adult Care Food Program is a type of federal assistance provided by the US Department of Agriculture to states passed through to local governments and non-profit organizations in order to provide a daily subsidized food service for children, elderly or mentally or physically impaired adults in non-residential, daycare settings.
The YWCA is a community Partner with the Capital Area United Way.
The YWCA of Baton Rouge participates in a number of other grant programs including the Childcare Assistance Program, Louisiana Housing Corporation's Rehousing Grant, Recast Grant, City of Baton Rouge's Emergency Solutions Grant, and several other smaller miscellaneous programs. The expenses for all of these programs are combined below.
