Ywca Of Mclean County

The early learning center provided full time child care for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years old. 62 children were served with 65% receiving financial assistance. 15 families benefited from ywca's scholarship fund.

Stepping stones provides 24-hour assistance for sexual assault/abuse survivors and their loved ones. Services include 24-hour hotline, medical and legal advocacy, counseling, prevention education, and advocacy training. Prevention educators teach erin's law (state mandate) in many elementary schools as well as some junior high and high schools. Educators also train on sexual harassment and related topics at universities and workplaces within the community. Labyrinth outreach services to women offered reintegration services to women who have experienced incarceration in order to significantly reduce recidivism. Case management, apprenticeships, and transitional housing help to rebuild women's lives and support growth and independence.
