Zero8hundred's mission is to offer compassionate, evidence-based support to service members and their families, helping them navigate the unique challenges of transitioning from active duty to civilian life through a peer-based social work model. Zero8hundred transition support addresses the needs of our military transitioning to civilian life by delivering services through a social work model zero8hundred addresses suicide prevention, employment, education and basic needs. Zero8hundred derives its name from the daily military ritual of raising theamerican flag at 0800 8:00am to signal that a new day of work has begun. Zero8hundred provides a holistic approach with a direct case management service that connects service members to support 12-18 months prior to military exit upwards to 3 years post military service.
