Alternative Agricultural Program: Begin implemental of an aeroponics system to ensure fresh produce for animals in collection and to raise awareness of alternative methods of growing crops in a "food desert".

Community Outreach: Participated in 10 local events with an estimated combined attendance of 4,200 people to share Zoo updates, animal information, and educational artifacts

Educational Outreach: Visited 13 local schools with an estimated combined attendance of 1,165 students. We presented a range of topics from aeroponics, animal husbandry, to career discussion.
