Mission
The mission of the zumbrota community trust is to establish, grant aid to, and promote activities, organizations and individuals whose purpose and intent it is to engage in projects of a social, moral, educational and benevolent nature to benefit the citizens of zumbrota, the zumbrota/mazeppa school district and the four contiguous townships. To accomplish these goals the trust will raise, manage and disburse funds consistent with the regulations prescribed by section 501(c)3 of the internal revenue code and consistent with section 12 of the zumbrota community trust bylaws.

Zumbrota area arts council - grant for emergency repair of stucco to outside of state theatre building.
Zumbrota-mazeppa public schools education fund- this money was received from the langsdorf fund at minnesota charities and was specifically allocated for the zumbrota-mazeppa public schools to be used for band.
Stabilize families - this grant is made up of public donations that are received for the stabilize families program of zumbrota ministerial assoc.
Charles buck scholarship - scholarship awards to students from z-m isd #2805 who are involved in music.
United redeemer church- this grant is money received from the langsdorf fund at minnesota charities. The grant amount was specifically allocated by the donor.
Frank goplen fund was formed to provide reimbursement to teachers for classroom expenses that they would otherwise need to pay out of their own pockets. The grant is given to the z-m school district and is distributed to the teachers from a special account held by the school.
Stabilize families 20 teeth program - this grant was made to fund restarting of the 20 teeth program which provides dental care for children from low income families.
Zumbrota are food shelf - grant for technology update for record keeping and food ordering.
Zoom robotics booster club for z-m schools robotics - grant to keep robotics alive after school district cuts to funding.
Zumbrota public library - grant to digitize the local newspaper
Healing garden in east park (lions club) - grant for maintenance and signage
Z-m isd #2805 - learning readiness preschool scholarship - to provide financial support to preschool students who cannot afford the cost of tuition.
Z-m kids in the community- to support a youth volunteer group where students from our communities spend one full day volunteering locally and one day globally.
Main st hanging baskets - a $5000 donation was made to the trust to cover expenses for providing hanging flower baskets on main st, zumbrota, mn. To help beautify the downtown area.
Wyatt rostad - grant to finance eagle scout project
Zumbrota area historical society - the grant was made to pay for hosting of a speakers on minnesota and zumbrota history.
Bur oak and red northern oak saplings were purchased by the trust to given to the public for free in an climate change awarness event held in zumbrota.
