$1.2MChicas youth development is an innovative youth program empowering latina girls to develop their leadership potential, adopt healthy lifestyles, develop cultural identity and achieve academic success with high school graduation and college enrollment. Chicas holistically support latina girls through bilingual after-school sessions, family supports, and community involvement. This program involves the whole family through home visits, parent gatherings, and educational parenting workshops. The first program of its kind in oregon, chicas partners with local public schools and more than 700 local families each year.

$904KEsperanza offers culturally & linguistically responsive and holistic mental health services that reduce biases about mental health and lead to healthy lives, strong families, and community resilience for our participants.
Program 3
$3.6M- the adult education program provides low-income latina women with the opportunity to complete their secondary education and learn valuable skills that empower them to become leaders in their home and community.- the empresas program offers educational services through courses, workshops, personalized advice, and access to commercial kitchens for the creation and development of small businesses in the latine community of washington county.- the leadership and advocacy department oversees all civic engagement trainings, workshops, and educational opportunities for adelante mujeres participants through the civic leaders training, immigrant solidarity, environmental justice programs. They also focus on community organizing and advocacy engagement events.- through education, access to nutritious foods, and community health advocacy, the health and wellness program aims to improve health outcomes within the latine and larger bipoc communities in washington county, oregon.- with the regenerative agriculture program, latino farmers learn regenerative farming methods and business acumen to successfully market their products.- the forest grove and cornelius farmers market is a weekly seasonal market bringing over 3,000 people together each week. The market provides an outlet for small farmers to make locally grown produce accessible to the community.- family engagement supports families' learning and well-being, and providing safe places to connect to school, caring adults, and additional services.
