Program 1
$645KAnnual Conference: ACPM's annual conference brings together leaders from across the health care ecosystem, medicine, and public health to examine how the nation's healthcare system can be transformed around prevention. The event offers high-quality CME programming, inspirational plenary sessions, networking opportunities, and the celebration of the best in the profession. The meeting is generally organized around critical topics including the link between innovation and quality improvement, how emerging research and new evidence can drive policy change and improve population health, and the role technology and data can play in creating new models of care. The Planning Committee plays a critical role as subject matter experts using their expertise and experience in clarifying the conference objectives, identifying, selecting and organizing the educational and networking activities of the conference.
Program 2
$434KMembership: ACPM was founded in 1954 to create a professional home for the growing number of board-certified experts in preventive medicine. With an expertise in population health, preventive medicine physicians bridge the divide between public health and clinical practice to change lives for the better. Through public health and preventive medicine, ACPM members apply their expertise to improve the health of individuals, families, communities and large populations and address today's biggest health care challenges. Preventive medicine physicians work in a variety of settings, including state and local health departments, Fortune 100 companies, health systems, and all levels of government. ACPM offers memberships for all career levels - from students to trainees to Fellows of the College - and provides a dynamic forum for the exchange of knowledge and practice and career advancement. The organization offers high-quality continuing medical education, resources for ongoing professional development, networking opportunities, and advocate for the important role of preventive medicine in our healthcare system.
Program 3
$205KEducation: ACPM's educational portfolio offers an array of programming to support the professional development and continuing medical education (CME) needs of both members and nonmembers. ACPM is accredited by the Accreditation Council of Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and thus can assign CMEs for select programs that align with the ACCME's protocols. In addition to varied online Public Health and Preventive Medicine (PHPM) programs, ACPM offers the Lifestyle Medicine Core Competencies (LMCC) course. LMCC is the evidence-based therapeutic approach to prevent, treat and reverse lifestyle-related chronic disease. At its heart is a set of core competencies and the use of comprehensive lifestyle interventions to address underlying disease risks - thereby decreasing illness burden and improving clinical outcomes within value-based medicine. Lifestyle interventions are designed to address behavior related to nutrition, physical activity, stress management, sleep, social support and environment exposures. ACPM also offers an intensive Board Review Course (BRC) that prepares physicians for the board exam offered by the American Board of Preventive Medicine (ABPM). The BRC is in high demand given its feature of signature preventive medicine faculty lecturing on the ABPM's annual Preventive Medicine outline or "blueprint."
Program 4
Prevention Alliance: The American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) Prevention Alliance is a diverse group of organizations committed to advancing the power of prevention through strategic initiatives, collaborative advocacy, and joint leadership. The alliance provides preventive medicine jobs, training, resources, and platforms to expand our collective voice. The ACPM Prevention Alliance provides mission-oriented health care organizations the unique opportunity to work directly with ACPM leadership and members. Member organizations include the nation's leading technology companies and biopharmaceutical manufacturers, academic institutions, physician networks, health and wellness companies, nonprofit organizations, and other professional groups that have earned numerous medical awards for their advancement of preventive medicine initiatives. Alliance members meet throughout the year and at the ACPM annual conference.
