BEZOS EARTH FUND FOUNDATION

The bezos earth fund foundation works with governments, ngos, philanthropies, and the corporate sector to remove barriers and drive solutions at scale that benefit people and planet alike. In 2023, the foundation engaged in a wide range of direct charitable activities including, but not limited to, working with local organizations to launch a national program to build green spaces in underserved communities, working on the ground with local partners to preserve and restore precious landscapes in south america and africa, and supporting the development of sustainable proteins as a means of reducing pressure on forests and other natural systems and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The foundation also conducted its own educational activities, including major convenings on environmental issues relevant to its mission, working with partners to prepare substantive research reports, speaking to national and international audiences on climate change and nature, (continued statement 5)
