$555KCare Coordination Services provide intensive in-home treatment and linkage to resources for families that are struggling to stay together or are in crisis. Services are delivered to families in their own homes weekly for 6-9 months. Boys Town Family Consultants help parents build on their strengths and enhance or learn new parenting skills. Boys Town Washington D.C. Inc.s target population is children who are experiencing truancy problems in D.C. Public Schools. Family Consultants help youth and their parent or caregiver to mitigate barriers to truancy, assist the youth in developing appropriate coping and behavior skills to improve attendance and academic performance. Boys Town collaborates with the Office of Victim Services and Justice Grant to provide these services.
Program 2
$380KOutpatient Behavioral Health Clinic offers outpatient services to children of all ages who have serious emotional or behavioral problems, as well as family therapy. The clinic offers children and families a wide range of specialized services including psychoeducation, psychological testing, counseling, and individual family therapy. Staff actively works to coordinate care with the familys primary care physician, school teachers, and others to provide a comprehensive, inclusive approach that ensures long-term success. In 2024, Boys Town Washington D.C., Inc. ceased operations stopped providing outpatient behavioral health.
