The tournament had six girls teams and three guys teams competing, with 776 spectators in attendance. In april 2024, the dsc also hosted the second annual emerging women in sports leadership summit, collaborating with women leaders in sports. Hosted at the durham convention center, the event had 169 registered attendees and 23 speakers with 28 educational institutions and 35 different organizations represented.
