State and local engagement - fair's state and local engagement (sle) department educated state and local lawmakers and their staff around the country on various critical immigration issues. Staff involved grassroots activists by issuing action alerts, developing talking points, submitting testimony supporting or opposing proposed bills, and providing legislative and issue analysis. Sle provided critical assistance to other departments within fair and assisted in fair's overall educational mission by contributing a significant number of blogs and articles for public education, discussing legislation and current events impacting americans at the state and local levels. Finally, the sle department hosted a border school for 100 sheriffs and legislators from around the country. Insight was provided regarding the administration's border crisis and how states and localities can fight illegal immigration at the state and local levels.

Media - fair's media/communications program provides essential educational and activism materials to the american public, giving them the digital resources they need to make informed decisions about public policy. Fair's communications apparatus strategically serves fair's branded content to key communities using our strategic multi-channel messaging capabilities. Fair's online supporters have access to real-time blogs, articles, radio hits, tv interviews, op-eds, facebook lives, educational videos, press releases, email newsletters, and activist alerts, which allow them to contact their representatives about critical immigration issues. The media/communications department also responds to inquiries by reporters and producers, providing factual information and commentary on relevant topics. The department also produces original content distributed on fair's media and social media platforms. In recent years, the media/communications department has sent teams to the border and locations within the country uniquely affected by uncontrolled immigration to gather information and video footage. The written and video reports that are produced provide members and the general public with information often unavailable through other sources.
