Using active learning approaches we are preparing the island's 7,500 prek-12 students to become environmentally minded, critical-thinking conservation stewards.

$220KGalapagos initiative: our iniciativa galapagos program, in collaboration with the galapagos national park directorate, is helping rescue and recover populations of giant tortoises and other endangered species across the galapagos. In 2024 galapagos conservancy led several field expeditions to monitor giant tortoises and other endangered species on the islands of fernandina, espanola, santiago, and isabela.
