LATINO VICTORY PROJECT

Educating and mobilizing latinos on the issues: this program focused on engaging latinas and latinos by creating awareness of key policy issues and mobilizing latinos to harness this community's civic engagement, including voting and voter registration. The program aimed to educate latino voters and the latino community on the importance of voting via media outreach and gotv events. We also engaged in polling because research and polling are vital to informing the organization's initiatives and honing the focus of our programs. To understand attitudes and beliefs affecting latino civic engagement, we conduct polling at key inflection points during the year to determine what issues motivated latinos toward engagement and to understand why latinos chose to participate or not participate, as the case may be.
