Program 1
$1.2MEducation and family relationships: maggie's place provides ongoing, educational activities, programs and supportive services at the organization's family success center, available to both mothers who have completed our program (alumni) and mothers currently living in any of our residential facilities. A variety of educational classes and workshops aimed to develop self-sufficiency and independence are available to new and expectant mothers including nutrition, infant care, breastfeeding, birthing, car seat safety and safe sleep. Evidenced-based parenting classes, life skills and financial literacy classes are also offered. Tutoring is available for mothers looking to pursue their education, obtain certifications or a ged. Workforce development program including career assessment and counseling is available to help participants navigate the workforce. 37 total classes were offered during the year for a variety of topics: parenting, workforce development, financial literacy, nutrition classes. 170 sessions were provded with a total with 147 moms attending and a total of 3,147 attendees. 412 seeking safety sessions were given. 68 moms participated in 145 one-on-one workfoce development sessions.

$609KFamily support services: maggie's place family success center also offers support for our families who have experienced a diverse range of traumatic circumstances. To meet each participant's unique needs, programs include addiction counseling, grief and trauma counseling, postpartum support, peer support and mentorships. Regular meetings, counseling sessions and support groups provide mothers the tools and resources empowering them to build a meaningful life for themselves and their children. A variety of child enrichment opportunities are available to 0-12 year olds who accompany their mothers to the fsc for classes. The donation closet is stocked with household supplies, hygiene products and food items including infant formula, diapers, wipes and are distributed at no cost.120 mothers and families participated in 1,033 sessions of family coaching; 21 mothers actively participated in the peer support program with 219 sessions; 216 support group sessions were offered during the year with 903 people attending those sessions, including 97 mothers. 13 out of 15 dcs cases resulted in reunification or on the way to reunification.
