Information and AssistanceIn partnership with the Minnesota Board on Aging, Trellis provides Senior LinkAge Line services in the Twin Cities metro area. During 2024, we had 39,143 points of contact with older adults and caregivers providing information and resources on Medicare, housing, transportation, financial services and other community supports.

JuniperThe Juniper network delivers evidence-based health and wellness classes to help Minnesotans improve their health and reduce disease and injury. The Juniper network is comprised of community organizations, healthcare organizations and class leaders. In 2024, Juniper completed 278 classes with 4,134 participants.

Pension and Retirement RightsTrellis Pension and Retirement Rights has attorneys working to protect and promote the retirement security of workers, retirees and their families. In 2024, 293 clients were assisted with pension and retirement legal matters.

Dementia Friendly Community InitiativesTrellis leads three dementia friendly community initiatives: ACT on Alzheimer's, Dementia Friends Minnesota and The Remember Project. Each of these initiatives strives to make communities good places for people with cognitive impairment to live and thrive.In 2024, 1,713 individuals attended 17 events hosted by The Remember Project. 2,475 people became Dementia Friends by attending information sessions that help them understand how to be supportive of people with dementia and their caregivers. The ACT on Alzheimer's program launched the implementation of Dementia Friendly for Healthcare Providers, a free 60- or 90-minute training for staff working in dental care settings. The training is conducted by volunteers who are trained by ACT on Alzheimer's to lead the sessions. The training helps workers understand dementia and learn how to create an environment that is safe, respectful and welcoming for people living with dementia.
