MULTNOMAH ATHLETIC FOUNDATION

The foundation provides community grants to nonprofit organizations and their programs. From july 2023 to june 2024, we awarded 13 grants to support youth athletic participation for those with limited access and opportunities. Our mission and funding strive to support of youth athletics, which promote discipline, leadership, and skill development.in 2023-2024, our grants supported general program funding as well as activities in basketball, bicycling, track and field, racquet sports, skating, soccer, outdoor programming, aquatics, hiking, summer camps, and afterschool athletic and educational programs.the foundation also continued its youth grant initiative, a grantmaking program for 7th and 8th graders that introduces them to philanthropy. Established in 2018, the program provided 10 youth with hands-on experience in grantmaking, awarding $5,000 in funding under the foundation board's oversight.
