Parrott creek strives to meet the social determinants of health in our community through a person-centered approach across an array of culturally responsive programs and services.

Community based programs: outpatient behvioral health treatment programs provided substance use disorder / alcohol and drug treatment and outpatient mental health treatment to 88 adults and youth. Another 34 youth who exhibit sexually inappropriate behavior were served by the lifeguard outpatient program.independent living, recovery housing, steps to active recovery (star), homesafe and housing assistance programs served more than 200 youth, children, and families, providing services and treatment to support young mothers in recovery; youth and families experiencing homelessness; and others engaged in sustance use treatment services who could use additional support.cultural ecology program focuses on restoring parrott creek's 80 acre site to an ecologically resilient, and culturally responsive and trauma-healing resource for youth, families and the indigenous diaspora community. This project also seeks to reduce many of the barriers that usually exist for indigenous communities when engaging in natural areas, providing a culturally responsive environment, a safe space, and opportunities to mend cultural connections and participate in land stewardship.
