NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REGULATORY

Government affairs - purpose is to assist its principal members, state regulatory agencies engaged in the regulation of public utilities, as a liaison to and advocate before the u.s. Congress, agencies and the federal courts.

Policy development - purpose is to provide staff support and guidance to its committees responsible for devleoping the association's policy positions on issues involved in the regulation of telecom, energy and water utilities. These policy positions are subsequently adopted by the naruc board of directors to represent the consensus views of naruc's membership.
