NATIONAL HOSPICE FOUNDATION INC

In october 2023, nhf held an exclusive in-person fundraising event in conjunction with the national hospice and palliative care organization's 2023 annual leadership conference. This gala raised funds for the emergency workforce support fund, a national program designed to support hospice workforce needs in the wake of an emergency event. This event featured plated dinners in an upscale setting with entertainment, live and silent auctions, and awards presentations. The annual fundraising gala included musical performances, as well as special networking opportunities for attendees. A live auction and live fundraising appeal were also held, providing attendees with an opportunity to further contribute to the evening's fundraising source. Revenue for this event came from sponsorships, ticket sales, live auction sales, and an interactive "paddle raise" for donations.during the nhpco's virtual interdisciplinary conference in april 2023, nhf had a virtual presence to promote attendee donations and promote usage of the available programs. Attendees were also encouraged to make tax-deductible contributions during their conference registration.
