Activities/events:newman living offers monthly events and activities where tenants areable to get to know each other better and build community. Having thatcommunity is extremely important to students so that they have othersto turn to in times of challenges and difficulties. Community also actsas accountability partners during their journey through college. Partof the college experience is to learn to make good choices in your lifeand having virtuous roommates and neighbors help steer tenants to thechoices that are right and good. The activities and events that newmanliving hosts also demonstrate to students that they can have fun and agood time without factors that can cause harm: alcohol, drugs,gambling, etc. Future events are being planned to help break the ice
