Pirates charities supported a number of initiatives that contributed to overall community wellness throughout the pittsburgh region by providing support and resources to local nonprofits and executing memorable pirates experiences for those battling cancer and other health issues or developmental disabilities. In addition, pirates charities continued to help fund chill mobile, an in-school mental health curriculum teaching children and educators evidence-based coping skills, in partnership with allegheny health network.
