THE NATIONAL ENERGY AND UTILITY

Research and advocacy: the national energy and utility affordability coalition (neuac) provides policy analysis, advocacy, and research on federal energy policies to nearly 300 member organizations and other interested stakeholders. Topics covered include implementation of the low income home energy assistance program (liheap), innovative program design and partnerships, news from the field of energy assistance, weatherization and energy efficiency, and water affordability. Neuac provides its members with tools to advocate for liheap and other funding to support income-constrained families, as well as knowledge of government policies and initiatives and other resources to support their work on income constraint issues. Each year, neuac hosts liheap action day, a two-day program for effective advocacy training, policy discussion, and networking, in addition to meetings with policymakers on the hill.
