The alabama association of realtors, inc. Is a not-for-profit membership organization exempt from income tax under section 501 (c)(6) of the u.s. Internal revenue code. The association was formed to unite alabama real estate professionals for the protection and advancement of real estate interests, to adopt and enforce the code of ethics of the national association of realtors, and to encourage and maintain high standards of conduct in the transaction of real estate business.
