The ancram opera house theater's mission is to engage, entertain and forge connection in the ancram community and beyond through the performing arts.

For residents and visitors of ancram, the hudson river valley and neighboring berkshires, ancram opera house theater offers an annual season, running april through november, that includes contemporary theater productions, concerts with leading musical theater artists, residences for theater artists to develop new work, storytelling performances featuring community residents, free workshops in storytelling and theatrical practice for community residents, and a series of in-school storytelling workshops for (350) 4th, 5th and 6th graders at our regional elemntary school.
