The armenian assembly of america, inc. Is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, including (without limitation): (1) providing aid, relief, and humanitarian assistance to alleviate human suffering in armenia and for armenians world-wide; and (2) educating the public about armenian culture, history, human rights, and other issues of concern to the armenian-american community.

Government & public affairs - through non-partisan advocacy and education, the assembly works with policymakers at the federal level and community activists across the country on a wide variety of issues, including but not limited to affirmation of the armenian genocide and u.s. Assistance to armenia.

Expenses: $485K

Yerevan operations and nexus armenia - work to support the organization's mission including support of democracy, the rule of law, open markets, and regional security. These programs also serve to educate public and private civil society initiatives within armenia. Nexus armenia engages participants from the us in an immersive experience in armenia to enhance understanding of armenia's geopolitical, security, and diplomatic relations.

Western region operations - the western region office advocates and represents issues of concern to the california congressional delegation through the assembly's network and policy system. The office provides information from and to the assembly for u.s. Government, state, armenian, officials, international organizations and bodies, public policy makers, media and others as needed. The office also promotes and develops public and community relations with other armenian and non-armenian bodies.terjenian thomas internship program - this program gives students of armenian descent the opportunity to live and work in either washington, dc or yerevan, armenia while gaining exposure to policy making organizations, research and think tank organizations, and ngos. Interns also meet with u.s. And armenian officials, participate in local activities, and enjoy sight-seeing trips to enhance their cultural awareness.research & analysis provide relevant and timely information services in the form of fact sheets, issue briefs and analytical reviews for the assembly, media, academia, and government agencies including the u.s. Department of state and congressional offices.
