Advocacy: the organization advocates for provider members and the patients they serve through a strong public relations campaign, lobbying efforts, and legal channels to ensure services are not reduced for the elderly and disabled and that appropriate and fair reimbursement is in place for the providers of these services.

Education: in fy 2024, the organization held both its annual leadership conference and annual convention as in-person events. The organization also held over 50 workshops and webinars in order to provide continuing education to its members in the areas of regulation, clinical practice, and business management. During fy 2024, the organization continued to field thousands of phone calls and emails to assist members with questions related to home care and hospice services.
