Leadership conference:the september 2024 annual leadership conference in kansas city was an incredible event, bringing together over 350 attendees, including women's business centers, small business owners, and industry leaders. Attendees enjoyed sessions packed with valuable insights to help their businesses and organizations thrive. We had the pleasure of hearing from inspiring speakers like: isabel guzman, u.s. Small business administration (sba) administrator nia mathis, verizon vp and chief esg engagement officer kelly skalicky, president and ceo of stearns bank. In addition to the sessions, we had some amazing outings, including visits to the kc current stadium and kc live in the power and light district. We were happy to have a video presented at the conference from sharice davids (d-ks 3rd district).

Hope2women:hope2women.org, launched in may 2023, connects entrepreneurs to the national network of women's business centers, offering resources, education, capital opportunities, and referral services. Our 2024 stats showing a growing demand for this service: requests for assistance: 284 instagram followers: 4,088 new newsletter subscribers: 376 h2w site: 6.5k visits.
