Reconnect black and african-american youth to the outdoors through culturally relevant outdoor experiences.

Camp founder girls: in 2023, cfg proudly served 159 campers and an additional 28 counselors in training. Campers participated in a week of activities centered on bravery which included: high ropes, swimming, self-reflection, team-building, biking, and horseback riding. Camp founder girls was a one-week summer camp, with additional opportunity for campers and families to participate in outdoor activities with black outside, inc throughout the year.
Bloom project: in 2023 the bloom project served 31 youth. This included the second winter retreat for youth and additional family programming activities including art and yoga. Activities ranged from camping, gardening, and backpacking.
