Mission

To enable young people, especially those that need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible adults.

Programs

2 programs

Science technology engineering & math (stem)initiative: these programs introduce members to stem activities such as robotics, nanotechnology, solar energy and clay animation and provide opportunities for youth to explore careers in stem.

Expenses: $95K

Character & leadership: helping youth become responsible, caring citizens and acquire skills for participating in the democratic process is the main thrust of these programs. They also develop leadership skills and provide opportunities for planning, decision-making, contributing to club and community and celebrating our national heritage. The million members, million hours of service initiative engages our members in community volunteering and service projects; keystone and torch clubs provide leadership development opportunities; and youth of the year is our premier, national recognition program for club members, promoting service to the club, community and family, academic success, strong moral character, life goals and poise and public speaking.
