Bric is a leading arts and media institution anchored in downtown brooklyn whose work spans contemporary visual and performing arts, media, and civic action.
Programs
3 programs
Bric performing arts programs include presentation of music, dance, theater, film, and spoken word, and support for the development of new work. In fy24 bric celebrate brooklyn executed 18 free shows, 4 benefit shows, 78 musical acts, hosted 75,000 seasonal attendees, and attracted 8 b+ media impressions. Bric jazzfest achievements include executing a 3-night festival; activating 2 stages, supporting 120 performers in our venue, and selling 1,858 tickets.
Bric contemporary art programs include exhibitions, public events, and an innovative education program at our 3,000-square-foot gallery at bric house and around the borough. Our aim is to increase the visibility throughout bric house and the accessibility of contemporary art and media while bridging the gap between the art world and global culture in brooklyn. In addition, our art education programs bring these experiences to students throughout new york. 2,500 students participated in our school-based art education program and activities in 42 schools and community centers, and bric house delivery of digital education content.
Bric house is an accessible destination for art performance, media & educational programs for artists, audiences, and community members.
