"brick city rowing exists to predominately serve the youth of newark and surrounding municipalities, ages 10-25, plus masters/adults, with an emphasis on reaching those who would not be included in the sport of rowing, while faithfully living the values of our organization (access, community excellence, service). Furthermore, brick city rowing(bcr) will establish a lasting competitive presence within the sport and change the face of rowing in the united states.
