Children's services: children's services provides an array of services to support unaccompanied refugee minors. These are minors who have been designated as a refugee, a victim of human trafficking, a special immigrant juvenile, or other qualifying eligibility and are referred to us through the office of refugee resettlement. While placed in the program, the youth live with foster families, attend schools in their neighborhoods, and have their basic needs of food, shelter and clothing met. Holistic case management services include service planning, permanency planning, medical and dental care, counseling, educational support and life skills education. In addition, the youth participate in recreational activities including acculturation, education, as well as cultural and religious preservation.

Immigration legal services: for 50 years, ccd's immigration legal services (ils) has been the largest and best-known immigrant legal services and removal defense law firm in north texas. Ils addresses the challenges immigrants face when dealing with immigration-related issues, such as work permits, residency status, and citizenship processes. Recognizing that legal services can often be expensive, the program strives to provide affordable solutions (free for eligible clients) to ensure that individuals from diverse backgrounds, especially those with limited financial resources, can access the help and representation they need and deserve. (continued on sch o) we provide services such as consultations, case openings, family-based petitions, preparation and defense of a myriad of humanitarian-based petitions, such as asylum, temporary protected status, and refugee adjustments, and legal representation in immigration courts for eligible clients. Additionally, we have a long history of helping victims of serious crimes receive immigration benefits for which they qualify for and all services to victims are free of charge.in fy25, ils served 17,370 clients, including opening 2,189 new cases, completing 1,371 cases, and achieving successful outcomes with 95% of its clients. The ils team conducted 7,665 initial consultations and conducted outreach to 1,782 individuals.

Addressing homelessness and housing insecurity is a major strategic priority and one we have invested in with the recent addition and management of three permanent supportive housing facilities owned by catholic housing initiative: st. Jude center-forest, which opened in late 2018 and houses 104 formerly chronically homeless seniors, including veterans; and st. Jude center-park central: a 202-unit, that opened in december 2020 and has since provided long-term permanent supportive housing. St. Jude vantage point, a 136-unit, was opened in 2024-2025. To combat "summer slide," we offer a daily summer camp that focuses on academic milestones and also provides swimming lessons. Our brady senior services program offers a welcoming, nurturing center for low-income elderly. Daily programming in the areas of mental health, physical fitness and health, education and social activities keep them engaged and more likely to remain independent. We also provide daily meals to ensure they are receiving proper nutrition.our hunger program feeds families who fall under the federal poverty guidelines enabling them to become eligible to receive food services. Families facing a temporary crisis due to natural disasters and homelessness automatically become eligible to receive services. Our three fixed food pantries allow clients to receive food at a location that is convenient, safe, and clean. 6 locations include "client-choice" options allowing direct selection of specific foods. Our five mobile community pantries travel to over 100 mobile pantry sites through the nine counties of the diocese of dallas to bring fresh food to those in need.pregnancy, parenting and adoption - as one of the leading social services providers in north texas, catholic charities dallas offers a continuum of services spanning from early childhood through the elderly. We offer pregnancy, adoption and parenting counseling and support services, helping children find their forever homes, connecting families seeking to adopt with expectant birth parents, and giving expectant and new parents the tools and resources necessary to successfully navigate their new journey. In 2024 we started a program for pregnant women to live in a safe environment. Next gen wealth academy - financial stability and career services - helping those seeking to escape the cycle of poverty and achieve self-sufficiency is a primary mission area for catholic charities dallas. We utilitize the working families success model, an integrated approach encompassing income supports, financial coaching and employment services. Through community-based food pantries, we offer nutritionally balanced food boxes and we offer fresh produce through our choice pantry; we also provide short-term financial assistance to stabilize families in need of support with their rent/mortgage or utility payments. We work with clients one-on-one to develop reasonable budgets and utilize fiscal management "best practices and financial technology tools to help them build their savings, reduce their debts and increase their overall credit scores. We work hard to help individuals, families, and communities rebuild and restore their homes and lives. Our goal is to provide immediate and stabilizing support (short-term housing vouchers, emergency financial assistance, access to our food pantries and cards) to families in need.
