COUNSELING FOR PARENTS AND YOUNG CHILDREN (CPYC)Counseling for Parents and Young Children (CPYC) is a mental health program at Center for Family Services that provides in-home, office based and virtual mental health counseling services to caregivers and their children from birth to five years of age, and their families. The services promote positive mental health and social-emotional outcomes for children and families. CPYC services are provided in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Creole in the office, clients' homes, community settings, and virtually. CPYC is funded by the Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County, Inc. (CSC) with the aim of promoting healthy births, reducing abuse and neglect, and promoting healthy home environments.In 2024-2025, the CPYC Program served 396 families and provided 1,312 hours of therapy and 710 hours of case management services.

PRENATAL PLUS MENTAL HEALTH SERVICESThe Prenatal Plus program is a psychotherapeutic program for pregnant woman who score at-risk on the Healthy Start Prenatal Risk screen or who are referred based upon other risk factors. This is a home-visiting program that provides services to at-risk pregnant women and is designed to help pregnant women or new mothers who are at risk of negative maternal or infant health outcomes. Each participant is eligible to receive supportive services from a Care Coordinator/Nurse from Department of Health, a Behavioral Health Practitioner from Center for Family Services and a Registered Dietician from Nutritious Lifestyles, Inc. The Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County, Inc. manages the Prenatal Plus Mental Health Services component of the Prenatal Plus Program. Prenatal Plus services are provided in English, Spanish and Creole in the office, clients' homes, community settings, and virtually. Prenatal Plus Mental Health Services are funded by Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County, Inc. In 2024-2025, the Prenatal Plus Mental Health Services Program served 268 expectant mothers with 1,759.5 hours of counseling and 638 hours of case management services.

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)The Employee Assistance Program, Life Enrichment EAP, provides assessment, referral, brief solution-focused therapy and crisis debriefing services. The goal of the EAP Program is to help employees find solutions to problems and issues that prevent them from being fully productive and effective in both their work and life. EAP also provides consultative services to managers and human resource personnel on workforce issues, Department of Transportation compliance and Drug-Free Workplace programs. Our EAP staff develops and presents topics that include leadership training, supervisory training, balancing work and family, conflict resolution, job performance appraisals as a management tool, and other workforce issues. EAP services are provided in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic and Creole in the office and virtually.In 2024-2025, EAP served 15 clients and provided 64 hours of counseling and 87.25 hours of case management services. INDIVIDUAL AND FAMILY COUNSELING PROGRAMThe Individual and Family Counseling Program offers professional and confidential mental health counseling to individuals, families and children on an outpatient basis to assist with various problems including marital issues, family discord, grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. The program helps individuals and families build upon their strengths and resources to develop strong social relationships, improve coping skills, lead more productive lives and gain knowledge of how to access necessary services. Our therapists are licensed and/or registered interns with the state of Florida and are trained in a variety of evidenced-based or empirically-based therapies that guide individuals through adversity and improve their mental well-being. The Individual and Family Counseling services are provided in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic and Creole in the office and virtually. The Individual and Family Counseling program also supports our case management services program. This program adds auxiliary services to clients who need support in areas such as housing, employment, medical health, and more. Additionally, the Individual and Family Counseling program provides group support to community organizations.In 2024-2025, the Individual and Family Counseling Program served 288 clients and provided 929 hours of counseling and 313.75 hours of case management services.In 2024-2025, the Case management program provided 91 clients and provided 204.5 hours of case management. PARTNERS FOR CHANGE: Substance Use Treatment ServicesThe Partners for Change (PFC)- Recovery serves adults who are experiencing problems with both substance use and co-occurring mental health issues. The program offers confidential outpatient therapy that recognizes client strengths and focuses on assisting clients to be successful with the goals they want to achieve. This unique approach views clients as valued partners in the change process and offers a systematic real-time outcome measurement process that maximizes effectiveness. Center for Family Service's PFC Program provides adults, adolescents and families with access to multi-level substance use treatment services tailored to meet their needs. The program is licensed through the Florida Department of Children and Families to provide substance abuse treatment services for adults and adolescents. All services are provided by licensed and/or registered intern clinicians. The Partners for Change-Recovery services are provided in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic and Creole in the office and virtually.In 2024-2025, the Partners for Change Program served 74 clients and provided 262 hours of counseling and 149 hours of case management services. Stop Abuse by Family Empowerment (S.A.F.E.) KIDS PROGRAMS.A.F.E. Kids program is an outpatient-based mental health program focused on serving children and adults impacted by trauma and victimization. We provide therapy and advocacy for children and adults who are survivors of sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, domestic violence, human trafficking and/or other crimes. A team of trauma-informed therapists provides comprehensive safety planning as well as various forms of therapeutic activities to engage children as young as three years old in processing their traumas. Additionally, our S.A.F.E. Kids program houses the Sexual Abuse Treatment Program (SATP), the only Florida Department of Health approved sexual and physical abuse treatment program for children and their families in Palm Beach County. The S.A.F.E. Kids services are provided in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic and Creole in the office and virtually.In 2024-2025, the SAFE Kids Program served 470 children and adults and provided 2,833 hours of counseling and 688 hours of case management services.
