Infant & maternal healthcentro tyrone guzman formalized a new infant & maternal health department in 2024, which quickly grew to include: prenatal and postpartum services for women and infants; infant health improvement education and outreach for families; recruitment and enrollment assistance for the follow along program; and montessori home visiting program for families with children (prenatal age 3) in the twin cities as well as blue earth and watonwan counties in southern minnesota. Sample outcomes from the year include: 100% of mothers in our maternal health program reported reduced stress levels; and 100% of 35 families in our home visiting program were on track with a well-child visit schedule. More than 675 individuals were impacted by the services in 2024.

Youthour races youth development program provides multi-faceted, culturally appropriate programming to help latine teens (grades 6-12) excel in school, make healthy choices, develop a strong personal and cultural identity, and engage in their community. Our be@school truancy prevention program provides family-based services to support consistent school attendance, and we also support latine parents/caregivers to find the right school for their child/ren and advocate for their child/ren within the school system. Sample raices outcomes from the year include: 100% reported feeling proud of their culture and other identities they carry; and 100% shared that the program helped them understand professional development skills. During the year, more than 630 individuals were impacted by our youth programs.

Adult/agingthroughout the year, centro's wise elders offered three days per week of on-site programming. Elders engaged in a wide variety of activities, such as: exercise; crafts; gardening; theater; educational workshops; field trips; manos montessori (our intergenerational social enterprise); and monthly intergenerational days, in collaboration with our youth program. Care partners received support, education, and respite services through our wise elders families program. Examples of outcomes include: 99% of elders surveyed reported that the support they have received from wise elders has motivated them to do things for themselves; and 99% of care partners reported that their stress level has reduced since they have received support from wise elders families. Programs impacted around 400 individuals during the year.

Info center and additional programsour information center provided 1:1 assistance to more than 700 individuals, helping address immediate needs and connect community members to a wide range of resources, from legal assistance to education programs to food support. Through our tax credit outreach program, we helped educate latine community members about available tax credits and provide resources to help them claim credits for which they are eligible.
