We are a native american led non-profit who utilizes the power of storytelling to create, educate and share about the native american lifeway.

Programs

Institute: cssp hosts opportunities for the community to come together to share stories, educate others and inspire change. 2024 community stories included holding a treaty day film festival for the public and for 4th, 7th and 11th grade students, hosting a gathering of salmon people at klamath falls, holding a song, dance and storytelling peformance for the public at the paramount theater in seattle and co-hosting an indigenous day event with local colleges.

Events: gatherings to share with and educate the public about indigenous ways. Annual events include salmon people gatherings that bring coast salish people together, treaty day film festivals for the public and students, and our earth day public event.

Expenses: $351K

Other programs include: young tribal leaders program, a cultural and professional skills education program. Young and indigenous podcast, 16 episodes of interviews on topics impacting indigenous youth. Community projects, organizing and recording a variety of indigenous projects, events and gatherings.
