Established in 1981, Christian Outreach in Action (COA) is non-denominational non profit organization whose mission is to transform the lives of homeless and impoverished individuals in Long Beach and surrounding areas so they may reach and sustain self-sufficiency and independence.
Programs

Our Community Outreach programs are geared toward improving the quality of life for any Long Beach resident in need. It includes various festive events such as Christmas presents for children, Thanksgiving basket feast, and Easter parties. COA provides bi-monthly Senior Luncheons, which also provide our guests with social connection and interaction with fun games as well as take home groceries.
With the number one problem in the United States being safe housing, COA offers a Low Income Housing Program that provides a safe and nurturing environment primarily for low-income families at below market rates.
