Environmental justice - our environmental justice program develops policies and builds capacity in communities to support sustainability, affordable utility costs, clean water, and health during extreme weather events.

Leadership development and other programs - the coalition has launched a comprehensive leadership development initiative driven by the coalition's values of honoring cultural-specifity while also building a multicultural movement for collective action. Our mission is to significantly expand the capacity of our communities to self-organize, network, build culturally-specific social capital, and provide leadership within and outside communities of color.the coalition engages community members through trainings and workshops to develop their leadership skills in their community.continued on schedule othe coalition provides educational information to community members on issues related to health, water, and the environment, as well as broad civic engagement and coalition-building to strengthen the leadership capacity.
