Ffa provides an awards and scholorships program to recognize ffa members who demonstrate exceptional progress in their agricultural enterprises and studies in areas ranging from agricultural sales to wildlife management. Cash and travel awards and scholorships are given to top winners. Approximately 250 students participated in the awards and scholorship program last year.

Career development awards - the colorado ffa association, in association with csu, offers 18 different competitive events that challenge ffa members to use their specific agricultural knowledge as well as a wide range of expertise from communication skills to analytical and critical thinking skills. The events are designed to help prepare students for carees in agriculture. Funding provides plaques, medals and cash awards to the top three, and one travelscholorship to the winner that will represent colorado at the national competition. Approximately 1,275 students particpate annually.
