Voluntary pre-k - enrolls eligible children in quality early learning programs to prepare them for kindergarten. Age and florida residence are criteria for eligibility.

Head start/early head start/early head start childcare partnership/early head start expansion - federally funded programs serving pregnant women and children up to age 5 not in school. Program addresses the wholistic needs of children to ensure appropriate physical, social, and emotional development. Health, mental health, nutritional, and educational needs of children are assessed early so children enter school ready to learn and achieve lifelong success. Neighborhood centers for families - accounts for family support resources of thirteen neighborhood centers, funded through orange county government citizen's commission for children.
