Mission

To unite latinxs in minnesota in active grassroots communal democracy that builds racial, gender, social and economic justice across community lines

Programs

2 programs

Environmental justice - copal's environmental justice work addresses the root causes of forced migration due to climate change and extractive economies. We engage in coalitional strategies to create an equitable transition to clean energy and to keep major polluters accountable to the most impacted neighborhoods. We build bridges to green jobs for our latine communities and engage in activity-based organizing through monthly outdoor events.

Primero de mayo workers' center - our workers' center connects youth and adults to post-secondary education opportunities, provides job and career skills training, places youth and adults into careers that match their skills, and provides access to capital and services for entrepreneurs and small business owners.
