To respond to and advocate for victims/survivors of domestic abuse, sexual assualt, dating violence, stalking & homelessness.

Homeless prevention - ciac provides short and medium term rental assistance to survivors of trauma who are experiencing homelessness. In addition to the rental assistance, survivors receive ongoing support from certified housing advocates who guide individuals and families through homelessness, locating housing, securing housing and accessing community supports to maintain safe housing. Services also include employment search, financial advocacy and healing opportunities. This funding enables the housing advocates to be local experts and coordinate landlord/tenant relationships, ensure habitability standards are maintained and engage communities to end homelessness.

Rural victims - ciac provides increase access for rural victims of rural domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking in seven rural counties. This program enables staff to be dedicated to rural victim needs exclusively and provide law enforcement and county attorney training and education regarding trauma-informed investigations and prosecution. Ciac increases rural community involvement and works to increase the capacity of limited rural hospital resources. Through direct services, training system-based professionals and community engagement, ciac will enhance victim services in these rural counties and provide more options for rural victims.
