The backpack program is a frozen meal program primarily for students in k-2nd grade. During the fiscal year ending 06/34/2024, 239,334 frozen meals were distributed using rescued food. These meals were donated to 11 community schools in st. Joseph, elkhart and marshall county and to social service agencies who serve children.
