Mission
Dade amateur golf association advances amateur golf and youth development in miami-dade county. Activities further the sports ideals and competitive character; promote fellowship and friendly competition; and encourage the mental and physical well-being of participants. Programs provide education in the rules of golf and golfing etiquette to juniors, golfers, volunteers, and the public; expand understanding of the proper use of public and private golf facilities; and conduct usga-governed amateur tournaments, including flagship junior championships, that emphasize integrity, sportsmanship, and life skills. The organizations official motto is helping youth through golf.

Daga expands youth access to golf through the first tee curriculum (life- skills + golf fundamentals), seasonal camps, little links, an elite training track, pga junior league teams, after-school programming, and girls golf activities. Programming provides beginner through competitive pathways, equipment access, and rules & etiquette education delivered with trained coaches and volunteers at miami-dade courses and schools
Daga administers usga-compliant handicap services for local golfers and provides rules/etiquette education that promotes fair play and integrity across competitions and member clubs.
Sponsorship of summer camps, girls golf and other junior golf tournaments.
