Dap works to prevent domestic violence and empower victims to move towards self-sufficiency.

Housing Services: This program was created in Fall 2021 to address the growing need for rapid rehousing and long-term living solutions for DAP's clients, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic. In FY 23-24, there were 88 participants in the relocation program and 68 (77%) transitioned to stable, permanent housing.
Safe House: This program provides food, clothing and temporary emergency housing for survivors of domestic violence and their minor children who are rendered homeless due to domestic violence. A wide range of supportive services are provided to adults and children. From July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024, the Safe House served a total of 105 individuals, providing a total of 5,632 nights of safe shelter to residents.
