The dreaming out loud food hub sources from local farmers and food producers to supply the needs of schools, food banks, churches, and more increasing market access for local businesses while increasing food access in dc. The food hub also provides wic home delivery, an avenue for increasing food access among wic participants residing in the dc metro area. Dreaming out loud's medically tailored meal program recognizes the link between nutritious meals and positive health outcomes, providing access to healthy meals through partnerships with health care and academic institutions. We also provide emergency food for community groups that support neighbors in need of food in crisis situations such as funerals, house fires, etc.

Expenses: $822K

Dream program: the dream program is a 16-week start-up business program for dc residents who have food businesses or food business ideas. Food entrepreneurs will join a community of local food entrepreneurs, coaches, and industry experts to help take them to the next level through a series of workshops and tailored experiences.
