Kanaka culinary arts: ea ecoversity's kanaka culinary arts program aims to create a two-year, hybrid hawaiian culinary training program for young hawaiians aged 15-30, focusing on traditional hawaiian and locally-sourced ingredients. The program includes eight asynchronous culture-based courses, four in-person internships, a mentorship program, and hands-on food preparation opportunities across hawai'i. It also features a co-designed micro-credentialing process developed by industry experts. Eleven young hawaiians were selected from 86 applicants to launch the first kanaka culinary arts cohort in fall 2024.

Ka papa lo'i: ea ecoversity's kapapa lo'i o keali'ikua'aina program supports a self-sustaining hawai'i where native hawaiians thrive through the perpetuation of traditional language and culture. In fy 23-24, staff and volunteers revitalized 5 acres of taro patches in waipi'o valley, creating year-round programming at the waipi'o taro patch complex.
